Kennedy Agyapong has endorsed me, says John Boadu

John Boadu, the general secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has said that Kennedy Agyapong, the Assin Central MP has endorsed his re-election bid after the latter called for the dismissal of the national executives.
The Assin Central MP in February angrily called for a wholesale ouster of the national executives in the upcoming internal polls.
However, reacting to the development on TownHall Talk on Asaase Radio last Friday (13 May), Boadu said the NPP lawmaker has backtracked.
“I think that is why sometimes I appreciate a holistic analysis of the issue. Kennedy Agyapong was on your station, you asked him a question, he didn’t know the details of what it is, he burst out.
“The following day he retracted the statement he made about me, and I think that you must acknowledge that and he even went further to say that I am one of the most hard working individuals in this party and the kind of energy that I have brought into this party he thinks I should be elected again,” Boadu told the sit-in host Beatrice Adu.
