Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez Vs Gennadiy ‘GGG’ Golovkin III: Full Card Set For Sept. 17

The full card for the long-anticipated trilogy showdown featuring world champions Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez and Gennadiy ‘GGG’ Golovkin on Saturday, September 17 is complete. Led by super-flyweight sensation Jesse Rodriguez in a co-main title battle against Israel Gonzalez, other thrilling matchups will fill an exciting night leading into the most anticipated fight of the year.

The event will be broadcast live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on DAZN PPV in the U.S., Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand as well as around the world on DAZN (excluding Mexico, Latin America, and Kazakhstan)​ and is in partnership with Matchroom, Canelo Promotions and GGG Promotions.

DAZN, the leading global sports streaming platform, today announces that Saúl ‘Canelo’ Alvarez and Gennadiy ‘GGG’ Golovkin will meet in an epic trilogy clash of world champions on September 17. Canelo vs. GGG III will be live on DAZN PPV in the U.S. and Canada and around the world on DAZN (excluding Mexico, Latin America, and Kazakhstan) and is in partnership with Matchroom, Canelo Promotions and GGG Promotions.

After Alvarez suffered only the second loss of his storied career in a sold-out T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas earlier this month, his focus switches back to Super-Middleweight where he will defend his undisputed title against the Kazakh king.

Alvarez and Golovkin have shared 24 thrilling rounds already in this hottest of rivalries and the pair will finally meet for a third time, five years after their first battle ended in a controversial draw and four since the Mexican superstar edged out Golovkin via majority decision.



Both battles took place in Las Vegas, and while a venue for the trilogy bout will be revealed soon, what is in no doubt is that it will be the hottest ticket in sport when these two foes dance for the third and decisive time.
